Hello, Monday! Hello, Top Tweets of the Week, a round-up of the best tweets from the week before. We already lost an hour this weekend, so let’s not waste any time.
Totally forgot about the daylight savings time thing. Every cloc Hypnosis Toronto. k I’d looked at so far today had automatically reset itself. — SelfishMom (@SelfishMom) March 11, 2012
We say it often, but it’s never not true: We are living in the future!
Who’s spring cleaning their tech gadgets? And uh…who needs to but hasn’t? Here are a few easy tips: bit.ly/wbzv1i — Cool Mom Picks (@coolmompicks) March 8, 2012
We’re really into spring cleaning the house/apartment/shoebox we call home, but way less diligent about spring cleaning our gadgets. This is bad, since as we just mentioned, we are living in the future. As such, we appreciate a gentle reminder every now and then; saves time, tears, and panic attacks at the Genius Bar when the computer that was last backed up in 2008 inevitably crashes.

A lot happened this week. World Read Aloud Day was kind of a #BigDeal. We love this advice; for those of us who love/want to write, there always seems to be a good excuse to put it off…but don’t! Parents, take some time for yourselves and write. We all have important stories to tell.

International Women’s Day also happened!
Touched by how many of you liked the video I made about the hurtful use of the word “retard.” As for the haters, I’m choosing to pity them. — Ellen Seidman (@LoveThatMax) March 8, 2012
Ellen’s poise and compassion while advocating for her son and for a world with more kindness is always inspiring, but her response to the hate-filled comments she received in response to her work with #EndTheWord blew us away (and caused some of us–we won’t name names–to tear up in the office.)
