Happy National S’mores Day!

The New York Times recently ran a piece about Unbaby.me, a Google Chrome extension that replaces pictures of babies on Facebook with pictures of “awesome stuff”—well awesome to the user like food, animals, LOLCats, and someecards. There are a number of reactions on the web to this app including this one from journalist and mother of two Janice D’Arcy, who thinks the concept of the app is funny; and this one from Sarah Perez, who thinks the app is unnecessary because people just need to learn how to use Facebook’s settings. What do you think of Unbaby.me?

Ever wonder what a toddler’s brain looks like? This image, which originally ran in Parenting magazine’s September 2003 issue, recently resurfaced on Edudemic with the question of “Is this still accurate?…Should this diagram be updated to include spaces for iPads and other devices? Angry Birds?” What do you think?

NYC Dad’s Group shared this gem of a video. Dads rapping. That’s right. Rapping. Rapping about how cool it is to be an engaged and active father.   Finally, today is National S’mores Day! So stop by the grocery store on your way home for the fixings to make this treasured campfire treat! Check out our S’mores edition of Stuff We Like, and these 22 different S’mores recipes from Babble.
