Presidents Day, Dinosaurs and Pirates, and Learning American History and Celebrating Its Cultures
February 15-18

First Crushes

You may remember your puppy love from yesteryear. These butterflies-in-your-stomach feelings have returned, but instead of you exchanging notes with your childhood crush, it's your own little baby who's gone giggly at the mention of a classmate's name. How do you handle your child's first crush and make her understand and process these feelings? For starters, don't push. Instead, start with general questions and follow your child's lead.

Chances are, you still have your little one for a date (or two) this long Presidents Day weekend, so keep scrolling for fun activities and ideas, including a trip to a Broadway experience with the kids, that'll have your child giggling with his first love: you!
