Practicing yoga with your kids with special needs allows you to positively bond with them while also allowing your kids to transfer their attention from the stresses of the day to yoga poses that help them relax and focus on breathing.

The benefits of doing yoga with your kids include achieving relaxation and positivly bonding with each other while also challenging you and your child both mentally and physically. Practicing yoga allows children to realize they are in control of their own breathing; young and nonverbal children are affected by everything around them, but breathing exercises allows them to concentrate and avoid distractions for the time being.
