Albany County

Indian Ladder Farms

Samascott Orchards

PYO strawberries and snap peas during early summer, but later on in the summer you can pick your own blueberries, raspberries, cherries, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, corn, peaches, apples, beans, and more. Open 8am-6pm daily; last admission is at 5:30pm. On-site farm store with jams and ice cream. Visit Samascott’s Garden Market, just a mile from the orchard, for farm produce as well as garden and nursery items.

Dutchess County

Barton Orchards

Greig Farm

Petting zoo for kids. The Hudson Valley Farmers Market at the Grieg Farm is open every Saturday, 10am-3pm, offering local vegetables, fruits, eggs, cheeses, meats, fish, flowers, and more from local Hudson Valley Farms.

Wickham Farms

Pick your own raspberries and blueberries in July; raspberries, cherries, blackberries, and peaches through August; apples and pumpkins in September and October. (Note: Berry seasons may be early this year due to weather conditions.) Open 9am-4pm Monday-Saturday. Farm stand open 9am-5pm. A yearly family membership of $20 is required to go picking (covers all crops for the whole family and for the year). Tours are available by appointment.

Friday nights are Cruise Car Nights, when you can drive your classic car to the farm and receive a free ice cream.

Alstede Farms

Pick your own blackberries, gooseberries, and currants through the end of July; blueberries through mid-August; red and yellow raspberries from mid-August through October; and peaches mid-July through mid-September. Cut-your-own flowers July through October. Veggies from July-October. Corn maze with giant hay pyramid, animals for petting, hayrides, pony rides, homemade ice cream, and farmers’ market. Open daily 9am-8pm in the summer; later closing hours in the fall. Live bands play on weekends through the fall, 12-4pm. Mid-July Sunflower maze will be available.

Hillview Farms

New Haven County

This 300-acre farm features an on-site bakery specializing in pies and prepared meals; a market with fresh farm produce, meats, dairy products, flowers, and gift baskets; goats, llamas, and alpacas. Berry picking is open Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, Sunday 9am-6pm (hours may vary depending on the weather/field location/berries that will be picked) through October; call ahead for pick your own times. The farm market is open daily (Monday-Saturday 8am–7pm; Sunday 9am-6pm).

Emerald Green Farm
