The fair will feature State Fair amusement rides, food, games, and shows. Mike Sandlofer, animal rescuer and conservationist known for his whale rescue efforts, is bringing the world’s only traveling wolf show to the Palisades Fair. Lance Gifford will present a magic and illusion show. Also on the fairgrounds, the Frontier Circus will perform trick riding and aerial acts, clown comedy and antics, and amazing rope tricks. Children can also visit a petting zoo, ride camels or ponies, and see an Old West Dog and Pony Show,

Mad Sq. Kids: Oran Etkin's 'Timbalooloo' - Oval Lawn, Madison Square Park
June 26, 2012 - Gramercy

Madison Square Park Conservancy presents its 10th season of Mad. Sq. Kids, a series of free outdoor performances for children and their families that takes place rain or shine in the park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30am, June 12 to Aug. 9. Oran Etkin's "Timbalooloo" is a unique new method of enriching children's innate musicality and overall development created by 2012 Grammy Award winner for Best Children's Album, Oran Etkin. Etkin incorporates melodies and rhythms from all over the world teaching that music at its best is full of life, spontaneous, and direct from the heart.

Summer in the Square - Union Square Park
Through August 09, 2012 - Union Square

Summer in the Square is Union Square Partnership's free weekly entertainment and programming series. Running every Thursday from June 14 - August 9 in Union Square Park, the series offers a vibrant mixture of activities for everybody. This season, the popular physical fitness series Fitness in the Square is back, starting with intensive boot camp by Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp at 7am, followed by two new special fitness classes at 8am and 9am from Clay Fitness and Mommy and Me Yoga classes in the playground at 10am, hosted by Bija Kids. Children's programming begins at 12pm and includes family-focused, music, dancing, and activities. Finally, each Thursday will close with free salsa, zumba, and hip hop classes at 6pm by Peridance Capezio Center. With such a wonderful, wide range of programs, Summer in the Square has something fun for everyone.  So leave your Thursdays open this summer!
