Veggiecation Cooking Demos for Kids - Whole Foods Market - Upper West Side

The Veggiecation Program shows kids simple and delicious ways to help prepare, cook, and eat their vegetables. Kids will participate in cooking and tasting demonstrations and help prepare healthy veggie dishes with Veggiecation's founder Lisa Suriano. Kids will take home complimentary Veggiecation character coloring pages, word games, mazes, and stickers. Parents will receive a copy of Veggiecation's recipes created that day. On the menu: green leaf wrap with mozzarella and basil oil, and spinach hummus.

Art Workshop: Technique: Paper Pulp Sculptures - Children's Museum of the Arts

Visitors (ages 6 and older) will learn how to create paper from paper scraps. Using a blender to create the pulp, visitors will form the pulp into sculptures, taking inspiration from Richard Tuttle's paper sculptures.

A Spanish language and live music program for children ages newborn to 5 years old with a parent/caregiver. The bilingual musicians teach through music, movement, puppetry, and games.
