Food Waste Composting Drop-Off - Woodside Library
June 18, 2013 - Woodside

Bring frozen food scraps (fruit and vegetable scraps; coffee grounds, including paper filter; tea bags; egg and nut shells; bread and pasta with no toppings)- no meat, dairy, bones, or oily foods. These kitchen scraps will be turned into nutrient-rich compost locally and used at community gardens in Queens. The drop-off is just outside the library.

In this interactive workshop participants will learn about the origin of flamenco; its culture, history, and technique; and some basic flamenco steps. Children ages 7-12 must be accompanied by an adult or other caregiver. Space is limited. Preregistration is suggested.
