BACK TO SCHOOL
Come and discover learning through play at Stepping Stones Early Childhood Classes designed especially for children five and under. Two new classes will be introduced this fall. Movers and Shakers, for children ages 2-4, will feature movement, music, songs and imaginary play. ScienceSays, for children ages 3-5, helps science come to life as children experiment, observe and share discoveries. There are 4-week and 8-week sessions available. Sample a free mini-class and meet the museum’s educators at the Open House on September 9 from 11:30 am-1 pm and September 12 from 12:30pm-2 pm.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Celebrate outdoor play in Stepping Stones’ newly enhanced courtyard featuring big blue building blocks, outdoor games, a new bubbles exhibit and a special exploration area for toddlers. A new tent, sound and lighting system set the stage for special events, a summer concert series, circus workshops for children and much more. Don’t miss Tom Chapin’s “The Clean Machine Tour” performance July 26. Special exhibit–“Invention Convention” gives kids a chance to create and invent. New exhibit–“Build It!” opens August 15. From July 1- Labor Day, open 10am-5pm daily.
