Footsteps from Washington Square Park, families benefit from preeminent instruction at the Joffrey Ballet School. The Joffrey provides classes for serious young dancers and those that just want to enjoy a fun after school activity. Our instructors nurture dancers in a caring and safe environment, combing years of experience with live piano music. The Children's Division encompasses creative movement (3-4yrs), pre-ballet (4-7yrs), ballet (8- 12) and teen classes. There are opportunities to perform in our Nutcracker and other shows at NYU's Skirball Center.

The Joffrey Ballet School builds on children’s natural impulse to express themselves through movement. With an outstanding faculty of professional artists, our mission is to train children from ages 3-18, develop their talent, and to graduate outstanding young dancers. JBS provides classes for serious young dancers (Graded Program) as well as classes for those who just want to enjoy a fun after-school activity.
