Cupcake Kids! offers cooking classes, birthday parties, field trips and other special occasion events just for kids. Our events are designed to teach the fundamentals of cooking in a safe hands-on and creative environment.  Chefs-in-training learn to measure, sift, mix, whip, knead, zest, decorate and more - improving their math, science, reading and social skills along the way.  By encouraging future foodies to pursue their interests with passion and education, we help to foster a lifelong appreciation for food and nutrition, not to mention a good cupcake!

Hollywood Foodies: Cooking from your Favorite Films -- Join us for five fun-filled mornings of movie-themed cooking fun. Each day we'll make yummy treats based on one of our favorite flicks - Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Ice Age - and read a story about the characters, too! Get ready to whip up and chow down on Licorice Wands,  Skywalker Smoothies, and Cheese Souffle. Have fun and celebrate the end of the summer with favorite characters, creative cooking creations, and new friends.

Around the World Cooking Adventures 

Join us for a whirl wind tour of the kitchen as we learn the ins and outs of preparing classic foods from around the world. Each day, we'll focus on a different cuisine -- Italian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and American -- and learn about the region and the foods and cooking techniques that make them special. On Friday, we'll have our very own "Iron Chef" competition for the chef's to practice all of the skills that they've learned. This class in entirely hands-on and is designed for the budding chef in your life - each day's lesson will build on what is learned the day before. Every day we'll conclude with a lunch party to taste and review everything that we've made. Students will learn about choosing ingredients, menu planning, basic knife skills, and how to work cleanly and safely in the kitchen.
