We are creating social groups where your child will be given the tools to meet and make friends. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment in which social skills can be developed and practiced through interaction with peers. Children must be between 7 and 12 years old. BACK TO SCHOOL
Children’s performance in school and later in the workplace is dependent on many factors. Children must be socially comfortable in the classroom setting so that they can attend to the lesson, interact in cooperative learning groups and feel confident to take intellectual risks. Outside of school, they must interact with people from all walks of life and navigate through various social settings. At Friendzone, we teach basic socialization skills to children who may need extra help in this area. The children implement these skills in supportive, fun-filled sessions led by NYS certified teachers.
HEALTH-COUNSELING
Social and emotional health is an important component of overall well being. For some children, social skills are not innate and need to be developed and practiced. We assist any child who may need help in making and keeping friends. We provide a relaxed, engaging social environment made up of age-appropriate groups in which children are taught basic socialization skills.
