Guardian Angel is a not for profit (501c3 ) program and all proceeds from the store go to serving the community. Women and children living in Nassau county and experiencing crisis will find supportive resources . Our professional volunteers offer practical advice from food, clothing needs to helping navigate government agencies, including housing and health care services . Our local store is a place of restoration with love and compassion. We also offer community service opportunities for teens and have a small gathering once a week with our local middle school teenagers.
SPECIAL NEEDS-DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS
The owner of Guardian Angel Family works as an educational consultant for special needs children, providing assistance in choosing age appropriate toys for families in need. Guardian Angel Family offers a toy lending program for parents and therapists. Toys can be borrowed for a donation.
SHOPPING
Shop to help! The Guardian Angel Family Store sells new and gently used women and children's clothes, toys, household goods, jewelry, educational toys, and specialty baskets. On Wednesdays, visitors can fill a bag full of goodies for $10. All proceeds will go towards women and children in crisis. For more information, visit the store or go online.
