Raising a Mensch
Robin Gorman Newman lives in Great Neck with her husband, Marc, and four year old son Seth. She is the author of How to Meet a Mensch in New York and How to Marry a Mensch (decent person), and since marrying Mr. Right Mensch,her goal is now to raise one. Robin bills herself as The Love Coach and offers socializing advice to singles via private consultations, workshops, and her website Love Coach. She has been seen on The Today Show,CNN, Good Day NY, etc. and is currently working on an off-Broadway musical based on her books. Robin is also co-founder of Motherhood Later....Than Sooner, a growing on and offline community connecting 35+ moms with young children. She heads the New York Chapter.

Mom After-Hours
Sophia Romero is the author of ALWAYS HIDING, a novel about illegal immigration published by William Morrow & Company, Inc. in 1998. Born and raised in Manila, the Philippines, Sophia was a journalist and a public relations executive for a major 5-star hotel before moving to New York City in 1986 where she met and married her husband, Dan Schwartz. The couple lived in Tokyo, Japan for three years where Sophia wrote for English-language publications and Dan worked in arbitrage for an investment company. They have two children: a boy, 16, and a girl, 11. The family pet is a dog named Roxy, who thinks she runs the roost of their Park Slope, Brooklyn home. Recently, Sophia began a blog called SHIKSA FROM MANILA , a collection of stories about the hyphenated life based on a fictional character named Amapola Gold

Dan Cohen is an award-winning singer, songwriter and producer whose credits include Disney's popular children's show JoJo's Circus, Sara Hickman's Motherlode CD, Nickelodeon, and Jumpbunch, a kids exercise program. As performer Danna Banana, his family music CDs and shows have won raves from the New York Times, New York Post, Parenting Magazine, Family Fun, Nick Jr. and many others. He is the voice of Spiderman on a recently released personalized CD and alarm clock. Dan, a father of three and resident of Rockland County, is a member of the Manhattan Producers Alliance and the Dramatist Guild. And he can sing the alphabet backwards.
