The Little Gym has opened its first Brooklyn location.  The children’s fitness and development center, with classes for infants-12-year-olds, emphasizes non-competitive motor skills development.  There are parent/child classes that include movement, music, gymnastics, sports, exercise, games, listening and cooperation.  And though the gymnastics classes for ages 6-12 have a more advanced component, kids receive individual attention and are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

The Little Gym, 221 Atlantic Avenue, at Court Street, has over 4,000 square feet.  In addition
to classes, there are birthday parties, and “parents’ survival” nights where you can leave your kids and go out. Info: (718) 488-7744.; www.thelittlegym.com.
