Camp Motorsport™
doesn’t just get you away from home for a few days. You’ll get hands-on
experience in safe driving techniques (no, you don’t have to have a
driver’s license or racing experience) and you’ll get a better
understanding of how some of the math, science and technology
principles you learn about in school apply in racing.
Math? Science? Technology? At a summer camp? Sure! If you want to learn
about racing, you’ll need to know about gear ratios, and how they
affect speed and rpm (that’s math). You’ll need to understand how an
engine mixes air and fuel to get combustion and horsepower (that’s
science) and you’ll need an understanding of how to make a car cut
through the air with as little drag as possible (technology). And by
the way, they call it suspension geometry for a reason! But it’ll be
the most fun time you’ve ever spent learning, because race cars are the
coolest classrooms you’ll ever be in.
