Description: FREE EVENT - CLASSICAL JAM presents From the Streets to the Concert Hall at Lincoln Center's Meet The Artist Saturdays Series. Known for their sparkling style and creative concert programs, Classical Jam performs an interactive family-friendly concert featuring works by Piazzolla, Bach Improvisations, and an original composition inspired by NYC Subway bucket drummers. Meet the Artist brings its informal, interactive, one-hour presentations to the public. Continuing to present a wide range of performances by artists from a broad spectrum of disciplines, these Saturday morning shows are specially created for family appeal and are enjoyable for all ages. CJ was recently selected by Concert Artists Guild to receive the Cary Trust Fund for Contemporary Music Projects and were recently featured in the documentary film by Kasia Witek entitled "Classical Jam - A Documentary."
