Description: Explore the worlds of night and day. Discover the ideal daytime and nighttime conditions for making maple syrup and learn all about the history of maple sugaring. Students will also explore the night sky in the planetarium, see the different adaptations of diurnal and nocturnal animals, and investigate the role of the sun in a hands-on Solar Energy & Climate Change lab. Group lunch period will allow homeschoolers to get to know one another. Ages 5 and up. Limited to 20 students. No charge for teachers or chaperones; younger siblings attend at no charge.
