We've compiled a guide to parks, rinks, and other sports centers in Fairfield County, CT, that offer healthy and fun activities - like hiking, swimming, and table tennis - for all ages.

Connecticut Table Tennis

Open year-round, with locations in Fairfield and Middletown. Eight tables open to players of all ages and skill sets for recreational use; $8 per player. Lessons also available.

 

Sports Center

Features a double-decker ice skating rink, jungle-themed laser tag arena, bowling, a game arcade, mini-golf, and batting cages.

 

Sportime USA

Elmsford; (914) 592-2111; www.sportimeusa.com

In an arcade-like atmosphere, Sportime USA offers kids plenty to choose from: billiards, skeeball, wall climbing, air hockey, and laser tag. Kids five and under can enter the soft adventure zone, containing a ball pit, slides, and crawling tubes.

The YMCA's Adventure Guide program offers a list of activities for fathers and children to do together. In addition to weekend camping trips and holiday parties, the program features family swim time.
