The CHET Dream Big! Competition Take the CHET Challenge

Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET), Connecticut's direct-sold 529 college savings plan, has launched the 2011 CHET Dream Big! Competition, a drawing and writing contest designed to motivate students to dream big about their future careers and to emphasize to parents and students that it is never too soon to start saving for college. Parents of Connecticut K-three students are invited to enter their child's drawing that answers the question, "What do I want to do after I go to college?" Students in grades four and five are asked to write an essay explaining, "How will I change the world after I go to college?"

All entries must be postmarked by April 4 and received by April 9. $250 CHET direct-sold 529 account prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of 96 county winners and $50 CHET accounts will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of 48 merit winners. No purchase necessary to enter or win. For official rules, prize descriptions, and more information, call 860-305-4605 or visit www.chetdreambig.com.
