Fun with Phineas and Ferb
Summer may be all but over, but not for Phineas and Ferb in a live production of their TV show: Disney's Phineas and Ferb: The Best Live Tour Ever! You don't have to love oysters to enjoy the 34th Annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival. There are enough activities to please everyone, from music by nationally known bands, to rides, cooking competitions, arts and crafts, and food from the International Food Court. Of course there are plenty of oysters, too, and related activities for those who truly love them. Take your dog for a walk at the 3rd Annual Walk for Wildlife Dog Walk. Participants take their dogs along a two-mile trail system past 84 acres of nature. Proceeds benefit the center's programs. Fairfield's Got Talent
You may have caught them on America's Got Talent. Now 13-year-old Patryk Ploszaj and Anna Kaczmarski perform in Ballroom! We are the Champions, a showcase featuring an international cast of dance champions, some who have performed on "So You Think You Can Dance." September 17. 8pm; free dance lesson at 7pm. $30-$40. All Hands on Deck!
Get ready to walk the plank during Pirate Day at the Maritime Aquarium. Come dressed in pirate garb and enjoy a pirate-themed scavenger hunt, a pirate dunk tank, and songs for kids by Julie & Brownie. Please Don't Kick the Daisies
Punk rock band Kicking Daisies can be heard on Radio Disney, and now you can see them live. Based in Milford, the band is comprised of four musicians ages 14-18. They came together after Ben Spremulli was discovered playing at the Chef's Table in Fairfield by a producer who has worked with the Jonas Brothers. They'll be performing at the Ridgefield Playhouse on September 23. 7:30pm. $25. 80 East Ridge Avenue, Ridgefield, CT.
Learn to Draw Comics and Cartoons

Run for Your Library
If you love books and you also love to be on the move, consider participating in Between the Libraries 5K Family Run/Walk. You can walk, run, skip, or hop from the main library on Belden Avenue to the South Norwalk branch by way of a bike path that takes you through Matthews Park and past the Maritime Center. Benefit Concert for Premature Babies
Laughing Pizza is a kid-friendly pop band consisting of a mom and dad and their daughter. They will perform together at The Laughing Pizza Concert to benefit the Tiny Miracles Foundation, which provides assistance to families with premature babies in Fairfield County and the surrounding communities.
