Our Victory Day Camp

“A Special Camp for the Special Child.” Our Victory Day Camp, for children ages 5-13, is oriented toward children with learning challenges or attention difficulties who need a structured and supportive summer environment. Campers participate in a non-competitive camping program. Professional staff, a 3-to-1 camper-to-counselor ratio in each group, and a camp ratio of 2-to-1, provide for a high level of individualization. Our goal is to create an opportunity for each camper to achieve success and create value, regardless of ability. July 29-Aug. 14.

Meet the Camp Director

Fred and Iris Tunick have been the directors of Our Victory Day Camp since its inception in 1993. They bring many years of experience in special education to the program. The Tunicks are "hands-on" directors, and are involved in every aspect of their program. Their ability to attract the most dedicated and vital staff in the field provides the opportunity to create an environment that "allows each camper to create value in their lives, regardless of their ability."
