Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program (BCAP) is the signature education program of Heart of Brooklyn, a partnership among six of Brooklyn’s most treasured cultural institutions: Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park, and Prospect Park Zoo. Through these exceptional resources, BCAP provides hands-on experiences for ages 7-12, weaving connections between art, world cultures, literature, history, nature and science. Youth have fun while learning through creative projects, games, and educator-led tours. All lessons are consistent with New York State Learning Standards, and taught by professional educators.
