Camp Cavise at Dance Cavise is an eight-week comprehensive performing arts day program for the child who loves to be on stage. Running from June 26-Aug. 17, campers, kindergarten through eighth grade, will study all forms of dance as well as vocal and acting technique, set and costume design, choreography, and script writing. In addition, campers will participate in games, auditions, and rehearsals. Each session culminates in an original production. Field trips to Broadway include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Come for a week, a session or all summer!
Meet the Director
After a four-year run in the original company of CATS on Broadway, Joe Antony Cavise left to follow his passion: teaching. He managed and taught at STEPS on Broadway. In 1989, he and his wife Lori opened Dance Cavise Inc., offering classes in all disciplines of dance at every level. Mr. Cavise was hailed "Westchester�s Dance Man" in Dance Teacher magazine, and has been featured in Dance magazine's "Secrets of a Successful Studio." His program, "Beyond Ballroom," teaches children proper social interaction through partner dancing.
