SUMMER FUN ? ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS ? PRINT GUIDE
Since 1950, The Gateway has become Long Island’s home for Broadway-quality entertainment. What was once one of the top ten summer theatres-Robert Duvall and Gene Hackman began their careers here-has now expanded to include a five-show summer season of musicals, a summer Children’s Theatre series, a winter holiday season–plus special events throughout the year. Shows are presented at the 500-seat Gateway Playhouse in Bellport and at the 1200-seat Patchogue Theatre. Additionally, more than 300 students each year–from Montauk to Manhattan–receive professional-level training at The Gateway School for the Performing Arts.
