Landmark Preschool serves children ages one through five with a broad range of activities to foster the education, growth and development of the whole child. Starting with “Fun for Ones,” a program for parents and caregivers to enjoy with their children, Landmark offers activities that develop children’s language, social and motor skills with the guidance of an experienced teacher. Landmark Preschool’s “Fun for Ones” also offers parents a chance to connect with other parents in a warm, supportive environment.

In Landmark’s Twos program, children take their first steps towards independence as they join the classrooms without a parent. Engaging themes capture their interest while our teachers work with each student to develop important life skills. Socializing with peers, fine and gross motor skills, and developing children’s use of language are a focus in this program. Concepts such as colors, shapes, letters and numbers are introduced through free play, art, stories, songs, outdoor play and an introduction to SmartBoard technology.  A nurturing environment and a 4:1 student to teacher ratio ensures the care and attention your Two year old needs to blossom. Landmark offers a choice of two, three, four and five day schedules, with hours from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  This program is the perfect introduction to school. Extended hours are also offered.

Threes at Landmark Preschool enjoy a program with monthly themes, such as “farm friends” and “community workers”. Their days include special subjects such as gym, music and Spanish. A typical day in the Threes includes free play, art, stories, phonics, handwriting and math activities, specials, Smart Board technology and outdoor play. A warm, supportive environment with a 6:1 student to teacher ratio ensures personal attention. A day in the Threes runs from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and extended care is available.  Three, four and five-day schedules are offered.

The Fours day at Landmark is filled with exciting activities including free play, science, phonics, math, handwriting, art, outdoor play and choice time. Monthly themes include: space, the rainforest, dinosaurs and more!  Special subjects such as music, gym, Spanish and technology round out an exciting and engaging curriculum.  A 6:1 student to teacher ratio creates a warm and personal learning environment. Three, four and five day schedules are available, hours are 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and extended care is available.

Five-year-olds at Landmark have a program of their own!  With a 6:1 student to teacher ratio, the Fives benefit from a full Kindergarten curriculum with support and individualized attention that allows them to engage in learning while experiencing success.  Small group sessions allow our experienced teachers to offer the level of challenge and support that is just right for your child. Students enjoy special subjects and monthly themes, as well as engaging in math, phonics, reading, handwriting, technology, science and art on a daily basis. Children who attend this class may use it as an alternative to or stepping stone for Kindergarten. Five full days a week with the level of learning just right for your five-year-old!
