Little Optics is the only optical In Queens that specializes in children's eyewear. We have been servicing the Queens community with first class eye care for over 13 years! We provide eyeglasses and professional eye care advice for children, including infants, and young adults.
Little Optics always uses the latest and greatest products and materials, and provide eyecare professionals who are more concerned with quality of care given than just "making the sale" like most chain store optics. Little Optics gives you the one-on-one patient-specific attention that you would expect from a Mom and Pop store, while providing you with the cutting edge technology that you would expect from larger chain Optical. Our goal at Little Optics is to provide the best customer service possible. We want the consumer to be informed about the products we use and the reasons behind them.
Fitting children with glasses is a very different task than fitting an adult with glasses. Most children have serious medical issues like strabismus (crossed eyes) or amblyopia (lazy eyes). When we fit a child with glasses we start a relationship with that child and their family, as we will consistently see them during the year for adjustments as well as prescription changes. Most of our patients have a long-term relationship with us. Many of the children we have fit with glasses have been our patients since they were just a few weeks old. It is a privilege, as well as a joy, to be a part of children's lives in such a special way. We care about our children, and this is why we offer high quality lenses and products.
We have a huge variety of top quality designer, as well as non-designer frames. We want to make sure the child looks great in their glasses. We alleviate any self-esteem issues associated with the stigma of wearing glasses. When your child leaves Little Optics with a high quality pair of eyeglasses that we custom fit, rest assured, they are confident and feel like their eyewear makes them look better. We make sure they have no reason not to wear their glasses, as they are extremely important and necessary.
