The Marianne Anderson School of Dance was established in 1973 by Marianne Anderson-Santilli. We have proudly served Wantagh and its surrounding communities for forty-two years! Dancers here blossom in our warm, family-like atmosphere where every dancer has equal access to the best education our experienced and professional staff can provide.
We believe in the fundamental principle that dance is a physical manifestation of artistic expression. We believe that proper dance training means that dancers will learn to love and respect themselves, their classmates, and the art of dance. At The Marianne Anderson School of Dance we believe in each and every one of our dancers and that is why we call ourselves a family...not just a school.
Established in 1973, we offer classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz/Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern, Musical Theater Dance, Cheerdance, Adult, Teen and Childeren's Yoga and Zumba. Our staff is comprised of carefully selected dance professionals with a passion for the art as well as a love for teaching children of all ages.
Multiple Performance Opportunities:
Marianne Anderson School of Dance was the first Dance Studio in the area to incorporate two recital performances during the school year. Students and parents will enjoy a January Recital, called the Mid-Year Revue, and a themed recital at the end of the year, typically in June.
The more serious dancer can audition for our performance group, The Repertory, which performs for charity as such events as the March of Dimes Signature Chef's Auction, in addition to performing at local hospitals and nursing homes. This free class is by audition only and fosters a sense of charity and community.
