Meet the Director

Central Park Upper Camp director-Mark Blackman is entering his 14th
full summer working at summer camp, and his fourth at Oasis in Central  Park.
After ten years at sleep away camp as a counselor,  leadership  coordinator,
and program director, he has spent the last three years as the  operations
director at Oasis in Central Park. Now, he is thrilled to be entering his  second
summer as  the Upper Camp director. Blackman knows that this is going  to be
one of the best  summers Oasis in Central Park has ever seen! Go camp!

Central Park Lower Camp director-Taylor Breen is happy to be
returning to Oasis for her eighth year, her second as Early Start
and Lower Camp director! Taylor is certified in art education K-12
and has her masters in general and special education (first-sixth grades),
from Hunter College. In Taylor's free time she loves to bake, travel,
take pictures, and snowboard. Her favorite part about camp is dress up
days! Her favorite cheer is Little Red Wagon.

Give your child a summer full of fun with Oasis Summer Camps! Here at Oasis we offer three different types of summer camps; a traditional summer day camp program for children between the ages of five and eleven, Early Start Imagination Camp for pre-K campers ages 3-5, and a program called Teen Travel, which is designed for young adventurers going into the seventh, eighth, or ninth grades. In all of our programs, daily activities and trips are centered on creative and performing arts, outdoor education, swimming, athletics, and team-building.
