BACK TO SCHOOL
The Religious School of Temple Beth Emeth V’Ohr Progressive Sharri Zedak has a unique Saturday morning program. Children learn Jewish history and traditions and attend Saturday morning services. Services are inclusive, with singing led by students on their guitars. Children 4-years old and up attend a class once a month and those preparing for their Bat or Bar Mitzvah attend Hebrew classes during the week in addition to the religious classes on Saturday. After their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, students have breakfast with Rabbi on Saturday mornings in preparation for their Confirmation.
