Description: Celebrate Mexico's beloved 3,000-year-old tradition that remembers friends and family members who have passed away with photographs and offerings of symbolic elements. Join the celebration by adding your own offering to El Museo's altars and enjoying the colorful procession around the Harlem Meer, storytelling, face painting and dance performances.
Exhibition on-view LA BIENAL 2013: Here is Where We Jump and PRESENCIA 11am-6pm, Las Galerias LA BIENAL features work by artists who live and work in New York City with special interest in the process. PRESENCIA focuses on ideas of presence and absence, based on works from El Museo's permanent collection.
