Description: This phonemic awareness and early literacy program, presented and developed by speech-language pathologists, is directed toward Pre-K to 3rd grade educators. The Sounds in Motion (SIM) approach focuses on listening skills and provides kinesthetic gross motor movements to teach phonemic awareness and articulation. Educators will learn to implement the SIM program in their own classes by teaching the movements and activities that have successfully facilitated early reading and writing skills.
