There will be excerpts of Gina's book performed by local teens, a creative workshop activity and an open mic. Inside Voices at the Girl Aquarium is a fictional account of a group of high school girls in a writing workshop, who use poetry to explore issues like love, loss, abuse, self-loathing and identity. Gina Inzunza grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with BA degrees in journalism and English with a focus on poetry writing. She served on the East Lansing Film Festival board and helped with the children's film festival by running filmmaking workshops.
