'Bob the Builder™' Returns with a LIVE Show for Kids!

  |  Movies & Entertainment

Back on a U.S. tour for the first time in five years, Bob the Builder and his machine team take kids on a singing, dancing, and, of course, building adventure in Bob the Builder™ LIVE! Spud’s Big Mess. In this performance, Bob and business partner, Wendy, along with Scoop, Dizzy, Lofty, and Scrambler, attempt to build a new recycling center and wind farm in Sunflower Valley. Farmer Pickles, Mayor Bentley and scarecrow Spud all pitch in to help, but many surprises are in store, which threaten the completion of the project.  Kids will learn lessons about caring for the environment, with an emphasis on teamwork, cooperation, and never giving up. All ages. $25, $40, $50, $65. May 30 at 2 and 5pm; May 31 at 1pm. The Beacon Theatre, 2124 Broadway at 74th Street. 212-307-4111. www.beacontheatre.com/bob or www.BobtheBuilder.com.
