This June, the Convent of the Sacred Heart is offering two weeks of aquatics programming. June 20-24 will feature water polo and June 27-July 1 will focus on development for competitive swimming. Both weeks are open to girls and boys in grades 8-12 (as of the fall of 2016) and focus on in-pool conditioning, skill development, scrimmages and inter-squad competition, video analysis, strength and conditioning, as well as discussions on leadership. Summers at LREI’s Basketball Intensive is an opportunity for players, ages 10-11 and 12-14 to learn the concepts of basketball, develop their basketball skills, and compete. Clinics focus on helping athletes improve their dribbling, shooting, and passing skills by participating in intensive drill sequences that focus on developing these fundamentals.
