The Blue Man Creativity Center is located in the East Village and dedicated to the education of children ages 2, 3, Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade. The Center's mission is to create a deeply enriching learning environment that helps children flourish as creators, critical thinkers, collaborators, community members and global citizens. The Center believes that students learn in different ways and move through developmental stages at different rates. The Center's educational approach is based on the premise that intellectual development flows most naturally and effectively when individual passions are added, and children can see the power and impact of their ideas on the world. The classroom environment is  one in which teacher, parent and student are all part of a continuum of learning and growth where a  child's unique voice and interests directly impact his/her educational path. The education model is based on a desire to achieve a new kind of balance between academic rigorousness and academic enchantment- both essential attributes of a truly exceptional education.
