Pono’s summer camp for ages 5-8, is a joyful experience based on the philosophy of Scandinavian Outdoor Schools, where children spend much of their time outside in nature. At Pono, children suggest and agree upon their own curriculum, including the locations of ecological adventures in and around NYC. "Pono,” meaning "oneness,” infuses all we do. Personal development and participation in a community of kindness, respect, and inclusion are essential. New science focus! Summer at Morningside promises a fun-filled experience for children ages 2½ to 5 years. This six-week program has three sessions that run from June 16-July 24. We offer three programs for children: the Peewee Program on Tuesdays-Thursdays; the Classic Program on Mondays-Fridays; and the Full-Day Program on Mondays-Fridays. They take place in Morningside’s sun-filled, air-conditioned classrooms. Staff is made up of experienced teachers and young adults. Special activities include yoga for kids, music, arts and crafts, soccer, a learn-to-swim program, trips, and sprinklers on our spacious rooftop playground.

When school is out, TADA! Youth Theater is in! School-break week-long camps and week-long summer camps are registering now. Explore the world of acting, singing, and dancing that focuses on the core elements of musical theater. Two professional teaching artists direct scenes and musical numbers from original TADA! musicals and Broadway and off-Broadway shows, plus play theater games, do comedic improv, and master cool dance moves. The Summer Enrichment Program at Winston Preparatory School provides parents with the unique opportunity to create an academic program specifically designed for the needs of their children. Students in 4th through 12th grades may attend six classes daily, June 28-July 26, from 9am-1:30pm. From 2-3:30pm, students may enroll in one-on-one classes, engage in after-school activities, or participate in both. Students may also enroll in one-on-one sessions from Aug. 5-23.
