Long Island’s largest and longest running “family-themed music and arts festival” is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the picturesque waterfront at Shorefront Park in Patchogue. Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp in Riverhead is a coed, recreational eight-week sleep-away camp. A three-day, two-nights “mini camp” is also offered. Stay-over weekends are available! Usdan Summer Camp of the Arts is the nation’s pre-eminent nonprofit arts day camp. TimeOut New York Kids declared Usdan a “Best Of” camp, and Usdan has been profiled in The New York Times and Time Magazine. Each day, 1,600 students, ages 6-18 years, travel to Usdan’s Wheatley Heights campus from all Long Island neighborhoods. Usdan offers 40 programs in music, art, theater, dance, writing, chess, and nature. Transportation to and from the camp is by air-conditioned buses. Three, four, or seven-week sessions are offered from June 27-August 12.

Village East Gifted and Talented is an enrichment program for gifted students offering classes year-round for ages 3-18. Its summer program known as “Camp ThinkTank" offers three- and four-day workshops for participants in first-seventh grades. Using our trademarked teaching approach, the follow topics will be covered: Practical Mathematics, Engineering and Structural Design, BioMedical Studies, Culinary Science and Construction, Underwater Archaeology and The Art of Saponification, and Earthly Elements of Magic and Jeweled Artifacts. Since 1972, our family-run camp has provided safe, fun summers for thousands of youngsters ages 4-15. YPDC is supervised by licensed teachers and administrators. Our philosophy is to “grow” children intellectually, physically, and spiritually in a fun environment. Activities include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music, dance, natural science, academics, educational and recreational field trips, and special events.
