Building Blocks of Jewish Identity: Building Blocks of Jewish Identity is an engaging new program for ages 4 and 5, accompanied by an adult. Led by an experienced teacher, the children will begin to assemble the building blocks of Jewish identity through stories, games, songs, crafts, and other activities, with a focus on the Jewish holidays. Class meets one Sunday morning each month at I.L. Peretz Hebrew School in East Meadow. Remarkably affordable and convenient to five major parkways. Hebrew School: We build Jewish identity. Through our dynamic faculty and innovative curriculum we actively engage children in a meaningful, child-centered Jewish education that culminates in bar/bat mitzvah. Our family-friendly educational environment features celebrations of all major Jewish holidays. Teens stay connected through our cutting edge teen program, and children ages 4-5 are welcomed into our exciting Building Blocks program. All students participate in our Social Action and Community Service program. Our tuition is remarkably affordable, and we are conveniently located. Teen Community Service Club: Our Community Service Club for teens offers exciting opportunities to make a difference both locally and globally. Students work together on a variety of important projects while building Jewish values, friendships, and connections to the Jewish community. Meets one Wednesday each month.
