Integral Ballet offers ballet technique, pointe, pas de deux and variations classes for children and adults, from Tots Classes, to Ballet Basics for beginners, through open classes for professional dancers.
Also offering supplementary and adult open classes in Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dance and more, Integral Ballet employs a Balanchine-based syllabus which reflects the most widely-used ballet technique among major ballet companies throughout the US. The codified syllabus was designed by NYS certified teachers to motivate youngsters to excel in classical ballet.
Students may audition to participate in the Integral Youth Ballet Company which performs a Nutcracker each winter and as well as an annual spring production. Company dancers are invited to participate in various master classes, tournaments and individual competitions, and scholarship auditions throughout the year. Past company productions include That Awful Cinderella, Ballet’s Greatest Ghost Stories, Streets of New York: A Ballet Tribute to West Side Story, A Winter’s Waltz, A Gatsby Soiree and more. All enrolled youngsters are invited, but not required, to participate in a short yearly recital each spring.
Integral Ballet specializes in affordable, one-on-one Private Coaching in all concentrations of dance, as well as Yoga, Pilates & conditioning. Private lessons are ideal for coaching competitive dancers, audition preparation, enrichment for gymnastics, theater, ice skating and athletics, injury recovery and more.
Integral recognize that dancers of all ages must juggle a variety of academics and extracurricular activities to develop, grow, achieve their goals. Students can design a class regimen and focus that works for them and their goals, whether they want to dance professionally or not. Students studying once per week or five times per week are afforded the same focus from their teachers and given the same access to the vast knowledge of dance training.

Recital participation in optional. Students at the pink belt level take technique classes which differ from choreography/technique classes. Students at this level must audition and attend rehearsals to perform with the ballet company
Nutcracker & Company Auditions take place each summer & in January. Students age 6+ are welcome to audition for pre, junior & senior company.
Integral Ballet is located a half mile east of Meadowbrook Parkway at 1842 Merrick Road in Merrick and serves students throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties.
SUMMER FUN – PROGRAMS & CLASSES – PRINT GUIDE
Integral Ballet offers professional-track and recreational ballet and dance classes for children through adults. The school recently expanded into additional studio space to accommodate its growing corps de ballet and student company, as well as to expand its class offering for adults, recreational dancers, and their newly forming special needs program. This summer the school is offering Ballet Princess Summer Camp for ages 4-8, Summer Dance Intensive for ages 9-12, and evening and weekend classes for tots to adults.
