SPECIAL PARENT - RECREATION/SOCIALIZATION PROGRAMS
The Adler Center for Special Needs at the Mid-Island Y JCC provides a comprehensive range of programs and services for children through adults and is partially funded by the Butler foundation. Programs include vacation respite, recreational classes, family support, and social skills classes. The Aspire Summer Camp is built to maximize social growth and create lasting friendships in both inclusionary and specialized group settings. Our unique summer program offers many choices.

Mid-Island Y JCC’s center for special needs in Plainview has a new name—the Adler Center for Special Needs—due to a donation from Kenneth and Ann Dorman Adler. The center provides services for children and adults with special needs.
