For 14 years, Lynne Gerald taught in nursery programs on Long Island. She started cooking in the classroom and realized all the skills the children were enhancing: fine motor skills, vocabulary, counting, sharing and communication. Children discovered a love of cooking and new foods, learned about kitchen safety, and were taught to recycle. She found a new home at "What's Cooking,? a culinary school, summer camp, and party place for kids. What's Cooking provides a variety of cooking classes for all levels, Holiday classes, scout and cooking badges, and playgroups.
