  • As the hot and hazy days of summer give way to crisper temperatures, fall greets us with vibrant reds, lively yellows, and earthy greens. What better way to celebrate this colorful time of year than by heading to the apple orchards, where you can steal some September sunshine while handpicking a bushel-ful of the season’s signature fruit. While you’re at it, sample some fresh-pressed cider, take a leisurely nature hike, or challenge a corn maze. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway to the country or just a few hours of family time, our guide will point you in the right direction.
