Description: Mount Sinai Medical Center and 92nd Street Y host "Raising Healthy Children (in an Urban Environment)," a free lecture by one of the world's leading epidemiologists, pediatrician Philip Landrigan, MD, MSc, Director of the Children's Environmental Health Center at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Landrigan will discuss how everyday chemicals can affect children's health, and the steps that parents can take to prevent these environmental exposures. This lecture is part of a first-time initiative led by Mount Sinai Medical Center and 92nd Street Y, known as Health and Wellness Month. Throughout September, leading Mount Sinai doctors will offer health talks and expert medical tips to New Yorkers free of charge.
