Description: Peace visonary Sri Chinmony believes "Wherever you go, take happiness with you." Celebrate the first UN International Day of Happiness (March 20, 2013), recognizing happiness as a fundamental human goal. This exhibit, sponsored by The United Nations Staff Recreation Council, combines the poetry of peace visionary, Sri Chinmoy, with vivid photographic images, the viewer is invited to participate in an interactive experience of the heart. The program includes a panel discussion, selected film screenings, children's events and participatory opportunities, including work from the Kingdom of Bhutan, sponsor of the UN General Assembly Resolution, Happiness: Towards a holistic approach to development. The program runs from March 3-24.
