Description: This four-session course is intended for high school art students applying to college visual arts programs. Students will learn how to best present their body of work by organizing existing art and creating new art, with an emphasis on drawings from observation. At the conclusion of the workshop, there will be a portfolio critique and talk by Dorene Quinn, SUNY Oswego and Pratt at Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute professor, and Yvonne Buchanan, Illustrator and Professor at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts.
