Description: Three Carsons out of Texas examines the creative output of the Dallas-born Carson brothers - actor and screenwriter L. M. Kit Carson (Paris Texas, Running on Empty, Bottle Rocket), the Grammy award winning lyricist Reverend Goat Carson and the iconic pop artist Neke Carson. The Opening reception will feature live performances by Reverend Goat and his band from their album, Jamestown to Jonestown, and Neke Carson playing his latest solo piano album, King of the “no note left behind musical sound.” Through November 20th, Kit Carson will premiere selections from Africa Diary, and screen the mockumentary David Holzman’s Diary. the other artworks being exhibited include screenplays and movie posters by Kit Carson, Goat’s latest outsider computer art, and the (in)famous portrait of Andy Warhol by Neke Carson, as well as a debut of his photography series, Things that Glow.
