Description: In November 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed the first official national holiday of Thanksgiving Day. In keeping with that tradition, old-fashioned wood burning stoves, beehive ovens and hearths will be fired up to prepare a variety of foods and baked goods, from 19th century recipes. Period historical fiddle music will entertain visitors each afternoon.
