Venue Description: Calling all young gardeners, ages 5 to 12! The HSBC Children?s Garden is a hands-on discovery program that lets children?s imaginations and knowledge blossom as they plant and harvest vegetables and flowers, visit QBG?s engaging 39 acres that include an Herb Garden and a Bee Garden, cook with the food they?ve grown and even make seasonally-themed crafts like Mother?s Day cards with seeded paper.
Popular collections are the bee and herb gardens and the Children's Garden, which offers its hands-on educational program for ages 5-12. The Senior Garden is a four-decade-old quarter-acre garden that provides members with individual areas to grow their own vegetables and flowers.
