Build-A-Bear Celebrates Grand Reopening in West Nyack and Paramus

The Build-A-Bear Workshop stores at Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY and Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ celebrated their grand re-openings in August 2012 with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and representatives from the American Red Cross.

Special ribbon-cutting ceremonies at the Build-A-Bear Workshop stores at Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY and Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ were led by Bearemy, the store's huggable mascot, and representatives from the American Red Cross. Visitors to each of the stores participated in Build-A-Bear's charitable Stuffed With Hugs program, helping to make bears for local chapters of the American Red Cross.

Stuffed With Hugs is a charitable program of Build-A-Bear Workshop that provides teddy bears to children in need. Since 2001, more than 325,000 teddy bears have been made and donated to children in need of a hug. Stuff With Hugs partners have included children's hospitals, firefigthers and police officers, the USO, UNICEF, Ronald McDonald House, among others.

Build-A-Bear Workshop is the only global company that offers an interactive, make-your-own stuffed animal retail-entertainment experience, and has more than 400 Build-A-Bear Workshop stores worldwide.
